Sarah
Getting to know me.
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am the owner of Buttercups Childcare, providing consistently reliable, creative and fun-packed childcare to you and your family. I love being outdoors, creating fabulous opportunities for children to learn and develop and most importantly, treating every day like the adventure that it is! I ensure each child who accesses my setting is cared for, heard, given the space in which to explore the world around them, form friendships, navigate through change, conflict or struggle with support and guidance, ensuring that their Personal, Social and Emotional development is nurtured every day.
I pride myself on my progress and assessment skills, ensuring that each day, your child is provided with considered and efficiently planned activities and outings, cradling their own personal development journey through the Early Years Curriculum, ensuring that their learning journey is tailored to their likes and passions, homelife and desires. However, the most important ingredient in our day is fun and the freedom to explore. These two things are woven into my schedule at every opportunity.
I am a mother of two wonderful children, 3, 7 years old. Previously a qualified primary school teacher, I have a wide range of experience working with children between the ages of newborn -11 years old, including private tutoring, mainstream education and I have a BA Hons degree in Learning Disabilities.
I am registered on both the Early Years Register and the Childcare Register, allowing me to support children from 0-8+.
